OREGON'S GRANDE RONDE RIVER
TROUT AND STEELHEAD -FLY
FISHERMAN'S PARADISE

Float by driftboat and/or raft. Spring and Fall for trout
and steelhead fishing. Bows from 2-4 pounds, Steelhead
from 6-12 pounds. This is one of the quintessential fly
fishing mecca's for steelheading on a surface fly.
November is prime time for dry flys, with low and shallow
enough water to spot and stalk fishing. Mile per mile,
fish for fish, even Montana or Alaska cannot claim a
superior wilderness fly fishing experience.
With the potential of spying on herds of elk, deer, and
bighorn sheep, maybe a bear or lynx, possibly a wolf, and
bald eagles vying for the same fish you are, renders this
wild lands adventure a hard combination to beat. Note:
these same trips are available for spin and drift
fishermen.

Famous
fly fishing experts regard this river as a paradise for
surface steelhead. Fish range from 6-12 pounds and may be over
3 feet in length. Long pools and fast riffles also provide
superb fishing for abundant resident rainbow trout.
The remote section of river we float will provide you solitude
and unfettered waters. Because so few people float this
secluded river in the fall, you will find plenty of elbow room
and drifting productive tailouts to yourself.

After you
have caught your fish try Eldon's
All-Purpose Fish Brine with a hint of maple sugar it is so
easy to use on trout, salmon, steelhead, whitefish, etc.
